We are happy to address any questions or concerns you may have about acupuncture, and will provide compassionate and holistic healing for you. The following is some information before you visit us for the first time.

 

We are in network with Aetna, Buckeye Health Plans, Caresource, Cigna, Humana and United Healthcare, accept all their commercial and community plans for acupuncture coverage, including VA CCN, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage plans.

 

Appointment is required:

Before Your Appointment:

 

You can sign up for a patient portal account, or fill out the New Patient Forms.

 

This will afford us more time for your exam and treatment. If you cannot fill out the new patient forms ahead of time, please arrive for your appointment 30 minutes earlier to fill out the forms at our office.

Location: We have two locations: 870 High Street, Suite 17 in Worthington, Ohio, and 2323 Lake Club Dr, Ste 206 in Columbus, OH. Please choose your desired location when requesting appointment.

 

Please eat light snack and drink some water before coming to appointment - avoid being empty stomached.

 

What to wear: It is ideal to wear loose, comfortable clothes that can be pulled over the elbows or knees easily and tops that are not tight around the neck. In the event that you are looking for treatment for a particular issue, it is helpful to wear clothes that enable easy access to the affected area.

 

Payment: Buckeye Acupuncture is committed to providing the best care for our patients. Payment is expected at the time of service and can be made by cash, check, QuickPay or credit card. If your check is returned by your bank unpaid, there will be a $25.00 returned check fee. If you have out of network insurance benefit that covers acupuncture treatment of your specific condition, we can provide a Superbill that you can submit for reimbursement with your insurance company.

 

Cancellations: Please give 24 hour notice (Friday for next Monday appointment) if you have to cancel your appointment. If you miss your appointment with no advance notice, you will be charged for the appointment amount after the second occurrence.
